FAR AWAY

Far Away is a short, stylised, cinematic documentary about John Grimes who uses hill-walking and mountaineering as a method to tackle his physical and emotional pain.

The documentary discovers how and why John started walking, how it helps him physically and emotionally, how he feels when he walks and doesn’t get to, who John is as a person, and how John’s story can help others. 

John’s journey is both literal and figurative.
